Apple Cider Caramel recipe found here 1 cup of apple cider 1 1/2 cup salted butter 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 eggs 2 3/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking soda Cinnamon to taste Nutmeg to taste Cloves to taste Steps 1. Pour 1 cup of apple cider into a pot and boil until reduced to half of its volume then set aside 2. Combine 3 tablespoons of that reduction to a mixing bowl 3. Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup melted butter, the brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, and baking soda to the bowl and mix thoroughly 4. Sprinkle in cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until desired amount (I go heavy on the cinnamon about 3 tablespoons) 5. Put the dough in the freezer for about 20 minutes 6. Preheat oven to 350 and form dough into balls, bake for about 15-20 minutes 7. After removing from the oven immediately use a shot glass to push down the center forming a well 8. While cookies are cooling, melt the remaining 1/2 butter and mix in a small bowl with the remaining apple cider reduction 9. In a separate small bowl combine the remaining cup of sugar with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to taste 10. Once the cookies have cooled, dip the top in the butter mixture and then place in the sugar mixture for coating 11. Finish off by adding the apple cider caramel to the center of each cookie
