Crust 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1 cup pecans ground 1/4 cup brown sugar 8 tablespoons melted butter Filling 16 oz softened cream cheese 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 1/4 tsp salt Topping 1 cup brown sugar 2/3 cup maple syrup 1 tablespoon bourbon 1/4 cup butter 3 eggs 1/4 cup heavy cream 2 1/2 cups pecans chopped Steps 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees 2. Put all of the ingredients for the crust in a bowl and mix together 3. Press into a pan to the desired thickness of the crust 4. Bake for 10 minutes 5. Combine all ingredients for the filling a new bowl and mix until well incorporated 6. Pour into the baked crust 7. Put oven to 300 degrees and bake with the filling for 40 minutes 8. Put the brown sugar, maple syrup, butter and bourbon in a sauce pan and stir on a medium heat until it slowly boils 9. Remove from the stove and mix in the eggs and cream 10. After the cheesecake is done baking, stir the eggs/cream mixture into the sauce pan mixture and add in the chopped pecans 11. Pour over top of the cheesecake, but be careful because it will boil up in the oven before settling down again 12. Bake in the oven for another 40-50 minutes
