3 Cups flour 1 Cup sugar 4 eggs 3 Cups almonds (not skinned) 4 Teaspoons baking powder 2.5 tablespoons of butter (at room temperature) 1 Orange (zest) 2 table spoons Vin Santo wine Steps 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2.Blend the sugar, flour, 3 eggs, the butter, baking powder, Vin Santo, and orange zest together 3. Knead the dough by hand and slowly add the almonds until all of the almonds are incorporated 4. Make 4 long cylindric logs and place them on a pan lined with parchment paper 5. Brush the logs with egg white and place in oven for 25 minutes until the logs are lightly brown 6. Remove from the oven and cut the logs in 1.5 inch wide slices then place the slices face down on the tray 7. Set the oven to 300 degrees 8. Place the tray in the oven for another 15 minutes 9. Let them cool and dunk into Vin Santo to enjoy best
